The poster promotes the route from Gare St Lazare via Dieppe-Newhaven. That route may have been a tad slow but it was cheap ('Route Economique') and, apparently, picturesque ('Pittorique'). That lady looks Edwardian and the Compagnie des Chemins de Fer de l'Ouest disappeared on its merger with Chemin de Fer de l'Etat in 1909, See also London-Paris via Newhaven-Dieppe and Paris à Londres. | ||||
