The Devon Belle was an All-Pullman service to the West Country that ran between 1947 and 1954. This striking 1948 poster depicts a Bulleid West Country class light pacific hauling the train at speed. 1948 does seem a strange date - the Southern was nationalised on 1st January, 1948. | ||
