Wandering around the internet, as one does, one comes across a number of interesting images. I found some by an artist called Diego Patrian. They struck me as strangely reminiscent of a couple of Southern Railway posters. | ||

The similarities are really quite striking, even down to the title, don't you think? I've tried to find out about Diego, but sadly to no avail. If you know anything about him, especially when he produced these works, I'd love to know a little more myself. I suspect that he came along later than our Southern examples. If I've got that timing wrong I may be doing him a great disservice, but if I'm right it would be nice to see an acknowledgement of the original inspiration. Perhaps I'm just an old idealist. But it turns out it's not just the Southern that gives Diego ideas: | ||
